DESCRIPTION:The Berkshire Innovation Center (BIC)\, in partnership with Hamilton\, Brook\, Smith\, & Reynolds\, has announced the next event in their BIC Presents Series. Longevity\, Technology\, and the Future of Medicine will be held on Thursday\, May 18\, 2023\, at the Berkshire Innovation Center\, 45 Woodlawn Ave\, Pittsfield. Doors will open at 5:00 PM and the panel discussion will begin at 5:45 PM. The event will also be live streamed via Zoom. Although aging is inevitable\, it is not necessarily\, as one might think\, an entirely genetically programmed process. Recent advances in biomedical innovations coupled with anti-aging interventions in health\, wellness\, mindset\, and relationships have moved the goal post of longevity to the possibility of humans living to be centenarians. "We felt it was important to address this topic as it is something that is top of mind for most people as we grow older\," said Ben Sosne\, Executive Director of the Berkshire Innovation Center. Giovanna Fessenden\, Counsel at Hamilton\, Brook\, Smith & Reynolds and one of the Moderators for the event is "excited for our panel of visionary experts to share their collective wisdom on longevity and happiness.
