What do pesticide residues, food packaging leachables, and medical device extractables have in common?

Although they serve different regulatory objectives, scientists often rely on the same advanced analytical techniques to detect, identify, and quantify trace chemical residues.

Join Cambridge Polymer Group's Michael Young, Ph.D., and Becky Bader, Ph.D., for a discussion of how analytical approaches used in food safety testing compare to those used in medical device extractables and leachables (E&L) studies. While the regulatory requirements differ, both fields rely on advanced chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques to support product safety and regulatory compliance.
